I keep having this feeling of déjà vu while reading this like I already read a manga like this before or watched a kdrama with the same plot, but I can’t place it. Either way, it’s good, a nice read. It’s rather frustrating Waka’s husband can’t get on it and tell her his true feelings!!!

This review contains spoilers. It was good, like reading a kdrama sped up! All the usual plot devices were there including the “evil mother-in-law”. But the story could have been filled out more and extended.

It was entertaining to read, but this could have been so much better. The male lead is completely irrational. The main female seems very nice and somewhat more rational. The story really jumps to summaries at several points, especially the ending. If you’re looking for something low key with a happy ending to help you fall asleep, this is good for that. But I wouldn’t spend money on it.

Although there are some brief hentai bits, I feel this title is misleading - it’s so much more wholesome and well developed than I thought it would be, which is really great. All the school-aged characters are experiencing the shift to adulthood of taking on their own responsibilities such as prioritizing studies over other pleasure. After reading everything that is available so far, I’m looking forward to where they all go in their lives as the story continues. If this was made into an anime, I’d watch it!
